Black Press Media is actively seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Multimedia Publisher to take charge of the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows News, overseeing revenue generation and audience expansion.

This exciting role is based in the vibrant community of Maple Ridge.

In this pivotal position, you will assume the following key responsibilities:

  • Attain and exceed targeted revenue and profit objectives for the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows News.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends in digital and social media products, ensuring our offerings remain cutting-edge.
  • Cultivate innovative revenue streams while collaborating with senior management on organization-wide initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives focused on enhancing audience growth and engagement.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the President, detailing advancements towards monetization and audience goals.
  • Encourage a culture of teamwork among staff, fostering an environment conducive to innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Act as a representative of the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows News during appropriate social and client gatherings.
  • Oversee all financial aspects including expense management and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements by maintaining the safety, security, and necessary certifications of buildings, equipment, and properties.
