This exciting role is based in the vibrant community of Maple Ridge.
In this pivotal position, you will assume the following key responsibilities:
- Attain and exceed targeted revenue and profit objectives for the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows News.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in digital and social media products, ensuring our offerings remain cutting-edge.
- Cultivate innovative revenue streams while collaborating with senior management on organization-wide initiatives.
- Drive initiatives focused on enhancing audience growth and engagement.
- Provide regular progress reports to the President, detailing advancements towards monetization and audience goals.
- Encourage a culture of teamwork among staff, fostering an environment conducive to innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Act as a representative of the Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows News during appropriate social and client gatherings.
- Oversee all financial aspects including expense management and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements by maintaining the safety, security, and necessary certifications of buildings, equipment, and properties.
