Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and in house video content creator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling video content, managing web engagement metrics, and assisting clients in creating effective video advertising campaigns. This role requires a creative mindset, strong technical skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Take breaking news editorial content and turn it into compelling video content.
  • Create engaging and high-quality video content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and online advertisements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their brand identity, target audience, and marketing goals to develop customized video content strategies.
  • Manage and analyze web engagement metrics, such as views, shares, and conversion rates, to optimize video content performance and drive audience engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital video production, social media marketing, and online advertising.
  • Work closely with the digital team including editors, reporters, and the department head to ensure seamless execution of video projects.
  • Developing video advertising campaigns, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, and strategic placement to maximize reach and impact.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in video content and engagement strategies.
  • Provide monthly reports and insights on video content performance, audience demographics, and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Over 1 year experience in digital media, or related field.
  • Proven experience in digital video production and content creation (entry level).
  • Preferred but not required video portfolio showcasing creative video content.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such iMovie, TikTok, CapCut or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Preferred knowledge of digital marketing principles, social media platforms, SEO best practices, and online advertising strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using web analytics tools (social media analytics) to track and measure campaign performance.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, visual aesthetics, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Passion for learning.
  • Must love video content creation, whether it be TikTok or Youtube – content creation must be your passion.

Expected annual wage: $50,000
