The Nanaimo News Bulletin is currently hiring for a Part Time Circulation Coordinator/Field Representative. This person will be the first point of contact for newspaper carriers and contract workers. They will be responsible for training and maintaining the newspaper’s carrier force, serving as their main liaison with the Nanaimo News Bulletin. This is a blended position working in-office and field work.
The successful candidate must possess strong computer skills with working experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Maps. A good knowledge and familiarity with the City of Nanaimo and surrounding areas will be essential.
This person must have:
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- The ability to multi-task and work independently
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
A Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check is also mandatory.
